Wow, I seriously have to get better about posting...

Okay, so as you can tell, I have been absent for quite a few months. It definitely wasn't an intentional absentee, but I have been super swamped between work and school, that life has gotten in the way and kept me very busy!! I am sitting here starting to reflect on my life more (I guess this is something that happens in old age) and I am starting to question what I have done in my life. I know that I have a lot to be thankful for, as I am healthy, I have a very loving and caring family (that I couldn't live without), I have a job, and I am able to live a comfortable lifestyle while attending school and getting an education. But, it just feels like something is missing. I am starting to feel lonely, and feel like I have missed out on something in life b/c I am 26 and single and don't have kids or a family of my own. It is getting harder each day as I see all my friends get married and have kids, and sadly it gets hard to go see them or be around them b/c they always do "family" things, (which there is nothing wrong with) but I don't have a husband or a boyfriend, so it is hard to be invited to couple events or family events, b/c then I just feel like the "third wheel". I am sure that there are many people that have felt this way before (or I keep telling myself that anyways) so I don't disclose that feeling to anyone, not anyone!

I am beginning to feel disgusted with myself and keep looking to place blame on myself as to why I am still single, and why I haven't found the man of my dreams yet. I know that I need to work on myself and get to a point again, where I am okay with being single, and am comfortable with how my life is going. It is definitely hard to get there, but I have high hopes that one day I will have the life that I have always wanted to have, and that I am sure God wants me to have as well. I will just sit back and work on me, and do for me for now, and try not to get too down on myself, it is just so hard to be alone during the holiday's! So I guess I will leave it at that for the night, and take myself to sleep!

Long time, no post.....

Gosh, so it seriously has been over a month since I even made a post! As you can tell, my life has been crazy hectic! I started school back for the fall semester, and let me tell you how much fun that was, finding out I have to go back to the local Community College, again.....needless to say folks, you should ALWAYS listen to your parents, b/c no matter how much you think that they are out to get you, they really do know what is best for you. Let's just say that I got a little bit too caught up on my college boyfriend, and then was working 2 jobs, so I didn't think that it was important to go to class, and that I could still pass w/o attending class, but let's face it, no matter how smart I may be that was dumb, and you cannot pass w/o sitting down and learning!!! I learned a very expensive lesson that I will take with me for the rest of my life!

Also, I found out that I will be a Ne-Ne (aunt) again to a bouncing baby boy, T!! I cannot wait to meet him and the countdown is on for December to get here!!!! Guess what starts next week too??????? That's right, COWBOY FOOTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO POKES!!! I am so stoked to get back to Stillwater for game-days, and am very much looking forward to this first game! We will be taking both my niece, L, and nephew, A, since they are Pistol Pete's Partners, so it should be a blast, minus all the whining from heat exhaustion and tiredness that I foresee LOL :o) I am just ready to get back in that atmosphere and root for my 'Boys!

Well I guess I will be going now since I still have some homework to finish!

My weekend.....

Well, it has been quite a wonderful weekend. It has been fairly quiet, which has been a nice touch to this weekend. I have, however, been taking care of my sister and her son quite a bit this week, as she had her gall-bladder removed on Wednesday, and she isn't able to do much right now. It is nice to just relax somewhat this weekend, and get a fresh start next week.

I am getting anxious for football season to start (Go Pokes!!) and can't wait to spend many a countless Saturdays in Stillwater having fun and enjoying some family time and great games! Well I guess I will get back to my lazy Sunday, I think I am going to catch some rays in the pool! Talk to ya'll later!

Ha! Okay, so I have been reading and following Kelly's Korner for quite some time now. I have never participated in one of her SUYL's, but I thought why not try this one out! So here goes nothing.....

I am 25 and living a great life in good ole' Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am finishing up my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, from none other than the wonderful OKLAHOMA STATE!!! I am a fun loving aunt (a.k.a Ne-Ne) to the world's greatest niece and nephew's in the world! I love my family, and have a great group of friends. However, I am definitely ready to find my Mr. Right. So, if you are reading this and want to know more or know someone who you think that I would like to chat with, then please forward them my blog-info or leave me a comment!

Long time......

So I know it has been like years since I have posted, but everything is just so busy!! I am now the Account Manager of ZanyBandz....yep, you read it right, the company that has helped bring on this wild craze for silicone shaped rubber bands!! I can't believe how big of a hit these things are, but hey, it pays my bills so I won't complain!

I also recently found out that I am going to have another amazing nephew!!! I cannot wait, I am so excited! I love my niece and nephews(s) (technically only 1 blood nephew, but my best friend is like a sister to me, so I consider her bundle of joy my nephew too!) I cannot wait to spoil T, (the new nephew), as much as I spoil L, A, and B already!!!

Well I guess I am going to head to bed, and I promise I won't go so long w/out catching up next time!!! LOL

Time to start fresh....

Well I am new to this whole blogging world, so please forgive me as I work my way around here. I decided to start my own blog after reading several peoples blogs, and thought it would be fun to get in here and just write, and have a place to turn to everyday and write down my thoughts. I have friends to talk to, but sometimes the greatest therapy comes with just putting your thoughts into words on paper.....so this will do that for me.

I hoped to write more for tonight, but I am exhausted, so I am going to hit the sack and catch some sleep before work in the morning!
